UK Ski Operators & Travel Specialists
Compare UK-facing ski operators by ATOL capacity, search traffic and Domain Rating.
Verified ATOL licensed capacity. Not actual bookings or ski-only passenger counts.

What these numbers mean
CAA Public Sales authorisations, checked 5 October 2026. These are licensed passenger places, not actual bookings or ski passenger counts. Mixed operators include non-ski holidays; each profile identifies the licence holder, period and capacity.
This is a selected comparison of UK-facing ski brands, not an exhaustive market league table. Licence periods vary; Iglu’s published extract covers two quarters. ATOL-to-ATOL allocations and non-flight sales are excluded. Each licence is counted once.
In the ATOL view, operators are ranked by descending verified licensed capacity, followed by unranked businesses without verified figures. This is an editorial comparison: operators cannot pay to change their position. Capacity does not indicate quality.

Find UK ski tour operators and travel specialists
This directory brings together UK-facing ski holiday companies, from large package operators to specialists in tailor-made trips, catered chalets and ski adventures. Explore their profiles, visit their websites and check the evidence behind their place on the board.
This is a selected comparison, not a complete census of the UK ski market. A company serving UK customers may be based elsewhere, and a brand may trade under a different licence-holder name.
How to compare ski holiday companies
Start with your destinations and departure points, then compare accommodation, transfers, equipment hire, lessons and the support included. For suppliers looking for trade partners, consider each operator’s destinations, holiday style and customer base alongside its scale.
ATOL licensed capacity provides one checkable measure. It is not ski holiday sales, market share or a recommendation. Read the licence holder, reporting period and caveats on each profile before comparing figures.
UK ski operators: frequently asked questions
Which is the biggest UK ski tour operator?
Crystal Ski’s licence holder, TUI UK Ltd, has the largest verified ATOL Public Sales authorisation in this selected directory. That licence includes non-ski holidays, so it does not establish which brand carries the most skiers. This board cannot provide a ski-only market-share ranking.
How are operators ranked on BidUpSki?
ATOL capacity is the default view. You can also sort by Ahrefs estimated monthly organic traffic or Domain Rating (DR). Each view ranks the available figures highest first. Businesses without a verified figure appear afterwards and are marked unranked. Operators cannot pay to move up this board.
Does ATOL licensed capacity mean actual bookings?
No. It is an authorised number of passenger places, not a count of bookings or ski passengers. Mixed holiday businesses may include non-ski travel. Licence periods can differ, and Iglu’s extract covers two quarters; check individual profiles and the methodology above.
Why are some ski operators unranked?
We have not verified a comparable current licence-holder capacity for every business. An unranked listing is not a finding about its financial protection or quality. Check the operator’s own booking information and the relevant official records.
Are all these companies based in the UK?
No. The directory focuses on businesses serving UK skiers, including operators and travel specialists based outside the UK. Company profiles link to their websites so you can check their services and booking arrangements.
Can I add or correct an operator listing?
Yes. Use Get listed free or Submit a correction on a company profile. Include the official website and supporting information for any licence or capacity update. Submissions are reviewed before publication.
Where can ski operators find suppliers?
Browse the ski supplier directory for ski rental, instructors, transfers, software and other trade services. Supplier boards offer optional paid visibility; the Operators board does not.
A Snowbistro tradition, continued
In September 2014, Richard Patey published a comparison of UK snowsport website traffic on Snowbistro. It used Similarweb total-visit estimates. Today’s Ahrefs figures cover estimated organic search visits, so the two should not be treated as a like-for-like growth comparison.
About the website metrics
Search traffic is Ahrefs’ estimate of monthly organic visits worldwide for the domain shown on each profile, including subdomains. It is not total website traffic, unique visitors or UK-only traffic. Estimates are rounded snapshots and ski traffic is seasonal. Mixed travel websites include non-ski activity.
Domain Rating by Ahrefs measures backlink strength on a 0–100 logarithmic scale. It does not measure company size, customer satisfaction or financial protection. Missing figures show No data and are placed after measured sites; zero is retained as zero. Equal values are ordered alphabetically.
